E‑sign Club Automation Receipts

SignGeist pairs a Chrome extension with a touchscreen signing station to capture customer signatures on Club Automation receipts — something not available natively in CA.

Chrome Extension for Workstations

Intercepts Club Automation receipt details and securely sends them to your SignGeist tenant.

Touchscreen Signing Stations

Display a full‑screen signature pad on a kiosk or tablet so customers can sign immediately after checkout.

Link Workstations to Stations

Pair each front‑desk computer with a signing station so the right kiosk receives the right receipt every time.

How it works

  1. Sign up and create your tenant in SignGeist.
  2. Install the Chrome extension on every Club Automation workstation and paste your tenant key in the extension options.
  3. Create and open a signing station on a touchscreen kiosk or tablet. Keep it open at the front desk.
  4. Link each workstation to a station in the admin so receipts go to the correct device.
  5. Ring up a transaction in Club Automation. When the receipt is shown, the extension sends it to the linked station and the customer signs.

Set up in minutes

Configure workstations and signing stations, then start capturing signatures with your existing Club Automation workflow.

Beginner setup guide

Use this checklist when rolling SignGeist out to a new club, workstation, or front desk. Work through the steps in order.

Before you start

  • A SignGeist account for your organization.
  • Your club subdomain, such as yourclub.signgeist.com
  • Chrome on every Club Automation workstation that prints receipts.
  • A touchscreen kiosk, tablet, or computer for each signing station.
  • A Google Drive folder for storing signed receipt PDFs, if your club uses Drive uploads.
  • Admin access to Club Automation on each workstation you plan to connect.

1. Create your club workspace

Your workspace gives your club its own SignGeist web address.

  1. Start from the main SignGeist site and choose Get Started.
  2. Register your organization and pick a simple club slug, such as mainstreetclub.
  3. After registration, use your club subdomain for day-to-day setup, for example mainstreetclub.signgeist.com.
  4. Bookmark the admin page at /admin for the person managing workstations and signing stations.

2. Configure web app settings

Use the admin area to confirm where signed receipt files should go.

  1. Open your club subdomain and sign in as an administrator.
  2. Go to /admin, then open the settings area.
  3. Paste the Google Drive parent folder ID if signed PDFs should be saved to Drive.
  4. Use the verify button before testing with a real customer receipt.

3. Add signing stations

Signing stations are the screens where customers sign after checkout.

  1. In /admin, open the Signature Stations tab.
  2. Add one station for each customer-facing screen, such as Main Front Desk or Pro Shop.
  3. Use clear names that staff will recognize when they are choosing where a workstation should send receipts.
  4. Keep each signing station active while it is in use.

4. Add workstations

A workstation is a front-desk computer that opens Club Automation receipts.

  1. In /admin, open the Workstations tab.
  2. Create one workstation for each Club Automation computer, such as Front Desk 1 or Cafe Register.
  3. Assign each workstation to the signing station that should receive its receipts.
  4. Copy the workstation API key. You will paste this into the Chrome extension on that exact computer.

5. Install the Chrome extension

The extension reads Club Automation receipt pages and sends them to SignGeist.

  1. On a Club Automation workstation, install SignGeist Connect from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. If the extension is already installed, open its Options page from the Chrome extensions menu.
  3. Paste the API key for that workstation, then click Refresh List.
  4. Confirm the workstation name is selected, enable receipt sending, test the connection, and save.

6. Open the signing station

The signing station should stay open while staff are checking out customers.

  1. On the touchscreen device, open your club subdomain and sign in.
  2. Open /queue and leave that page visible at the counter.
  3. Use the station or workstation filter if the screen should only show one counter's receipts.
  4. When a receipt appears, the customer taps it, signs, and submits.

7. Test one receipt

Do one test before using the setup with a real member at the front desk.

  1. In the extension Options page, click Test Connection and confirm a test receipt appears in /queue.
  2. Complete the test signature on the signing station.
  3. Ring up a small test receipt in Club Automation and verify it appears on the correct signing station.
  4. Check that the signed receipt is completed and, if enabled, uploaded to Google Drive.

Subdomain quick reference

SignGeist uses your club subdomain to keep staff, kiosk, and workstation traffic pointed at the right organization.

  • Use your club subdomain for staff pages, for example yourclub.signgeist.com/admin.
  • Use /queue on the customer-facing signing device.
  • The Chrome extension uses the workstation API key to find the correct club and webhook automatically.
  • If receipts appear on the wrong screen, check the workstation assignment in /admin.

Quick smoke test

  1. In /admin, confirm one workstation is assigned to one signature station.
  2. Configure the extension with that workstation API key and use Test Connection.
  3. Open /queue on the signing station and confirm the test receipt appears.
  4. Sign the receipt, submit it, and confirm the PDF lands in the Google Drive folder.
